The only thing 100 ab crunches and 200 sit-ups will get you is a pain in the back and neck. The reason why these exercises never work in getting your your dream abs is simple.
If you currently have belly fat or a spare tire or a Dunlap stomach and you want to get rid of it, but have tried abdominal crunches and sit up but they never worked, then here is why that is. Belly fat is kinda like any other fat in the body, in order to get rid of it your will have to increase the metabolism in the body overall. This elevated metabolic rate will cause your body to convert fat to calories for burning for fuel.
So to get rid of the body fat is two folds.
The first thing you have to do is stop consuming more calories than your body needs in a day. This means eating more wholesome, healthy, low fat plant based foods that are high in fiber. Cut out all the meat, seafood and dairy products that are high in fat but no fiber. Once your body stop getting an excess of calories in the body it will start to convert your belly fat back into calories for energy, because there is now a deficit.
So now you are burning more calories than you are taking in. But for faster results this is not enough. We need to ad some aerobics activities to our routine, not crunches or sit-ups, these are not cardio enough to burn much fat we need aerobics, such as brisk walking, jogging, swimming, bike riding and cross country skying. Anything that will raise our heart rate for a sustained period of about 30-45 minutes will do.
This will increase the amount of calories needed to fuel these activities, and so your body will burn even more fat for energy. This will burn the fat from your stomach and reveal your abdominal muscles, which by the way we all have, most peoples are just hidden under fat.
So you will be eating just as much food as before in volume, but the foods you will be eating will be very low in calories. And the additional workouts will turn your body into a fat burning furnace.[ad_2]
