Celebrities and are raving about a certain detoxification diet that’s been around for over 60 years. The Lemonade Diet or as commonly known as “The Master Cleanse,” was created in 1941 by a dietitian named Stanley Burroughs.
A much chunkier Jared Leto went on the Master Cleanse Diet after he gained 62 lbs for his role in Chapter 27. He successfully lost 70+ lbs in less than two months – a majority of which he was using the Master Cleanse Diet.
Jared Leto confirmed on an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live that he had gained 62 lbs for his role in Chapter 27, where he portrays John Lennon’s assassin, Mark David Chapman. When confronted with a much heavier photograph of himself during the interview, Jared Leto admitted, “That was actually only 7 weeks ago. I’ve been fasting ever since. I’ve been doing this very strange lemon and cayenne pepper and water fast. I didn’t eat any food for 10 days straight. I think I lost 20 lbs that first 10 days.”
The talented Beyonce Knowles followed the Master Cleanse for her role in the hit movie, “Dreamgirls” in which she portrayed her younger, more slender self. She announced on the Oprah Winfrey show that she had successfully lost 20 pounds on the Master Cleanse Diet.
Advocates of the Lemonade Diet, not only claim it’s benefits lie in weight loss, but hold the strong conviction that it holds miraculous detoxification properties.
Robin Quivers, “Howard Stern” radio talk show host told People magazine in an interview, “This wasn’t about weight loss.” Robin traced her health problems to steroid-based medication that she took in 1989 to regulate her menstrual cycle. “I was really trying to regain my health, and that’s what it did,” proclaimed Quivers.
The all natural Lemonade Diet has helped sufferers rid themselves of digestive and colon problems; chronic pain; allergies; high blood pressure and cholestrol; and even has been proven to reverse the signs of diabetes. And, of course, the Lemonade Diet is most famous for being a fast, effective, and organic method of losing toxic body fat in the form of stubborn excess weight.
Supporters of the Master Cleanse Diet will attest to the fact that the concoction will provide you with everything your body needs. This lemonade mixture, does not just include lemons. It is a combination of fresh lemon juice, genuine grade b maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. The lemon and cayenne pepper are the detoxifiers in the beverage. The maple syrup is the key element in the drink that yields calories, and provides the body with the necessary nutrients it needs to function.
